Created from deadstock fabric using a mould-making technique developed for the Feminised Protein project, these lamps are made by sewing thin strips of fabric into a spiral, snail shell pattern. The forms are soft and slouching, with rounded, chubby folds that give each piece a unique silhouette.
Filled with linseed husks, they have the weight and feel of a beanbag, naturally leaning and settling into different positions. Each lamp can be gently propped up and rearranged, its posture shifting.
Materials: deadstock cotton/silk, organic linseed husks, G9 bulb fitting, glass globe lampshade. 2024
